The elaboration contains information about economic activity of the population, about demand for labour, employed persons, their working conditions, gross wages and salaries, and about registered unemployed persons. It also describes data about labour turnover and results of structure of wages and salaries survey, conducted every two years.
Analysis of presented aspects of labour market in warmińsko-mazurskie voivodship was conducted on the basis of data from 2019, while trends of analysed occurrences were
presented within the space of years 2010–2019. In addition the most important data of the voivodship were showed against the background of the country and other voivodships.
In 2020, the labor market experienced great difficulties – not only in the voivodship, but also throughout Poland and around the world. The cause of these difficulties was the emergence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which affected the functioning of all countries. This study presents the situation directly preceding the coronavirus pandemic with its socio-economic consequences. The picture of the labor market from 2018–2019 presented in the elaboration may be a reference point for analyzes in the following years, after the pandemic.
