This publication presents specific character of voivodship resulting from its location and landscape, describes tourist infrastructure and presents information about tourist traffic and services.

The elaboration contains information about tourist accomodation establishments and their activity. It also describes data about border traffic and entities of the national economy conducting economic activity connected with tourism. Analysis of presented aspects of tourism in warmińsko-mazurskie voivodship was conducted on the basis of data from 2017, while trends of analysed occurences were presented within the space of years 2012–2017. In addition the most important data of the voivodship were showed against the background of the country and other voivodships.

Statistical data used in this publication were obtained in researches conducted by Statistics Poland, the Polish Tourist Association and from the Border Guard.
