This publication contains a comprehensive set of statistical information characterizing level of the socio-economic development of our Voivodship.

The thematic scope of this study includes issues relating to the environment, society, economy and finances of local government units. Described topics are presented in the retrospection since 2015 that enables analysis and assessment of changes taking place in recent years. Additionally it is possible to compare socio-economic phenomena occuring in Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship with processes taking place in the country and also in other voivodships.

Issues described in this publication are presented in the form of graphs, maps, cartograms and cartodiagrams. It allows to understand changes in time and spatial distribution of socio-economic phenomena and procesess. The analitical section of this elaboration is supplemented with review tables.

The report’s annex includes selected information on Areas of Strategic Intervention (ASI), defined in the National Strategy of Regional Development 2030 as areas (gminas) threatened by permanent marginalisation and cities losing their socio-economic functions, for which there are special instruments of development support.
