Health care and social welfare in Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship in years 2020–2022

The aim of the study is to provide information about health care realized, among others, by: hospitals, out-patient and stationary health care facilities, emergency medical services and first aid units, as well as about pharmacies and pharmaceutical outlets. The publication also presents data on nurseries and children’s clubs as well as on institutional and family foster care facilities. The role of day support centers and other forms of family support as well as the help provided in stationary social welfare facilities was also highlighted.
Data presented in the study come from current reporting of Statistics Poland, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of the Interior and Administration, the National Blood Centre, the Ministry of Family and Social Policy and also other non-statistical sources. In 2022, work on a new method of estimating medical personnel resources based on administrative sources was completed and data was presented in a new approach for the first time.
The publication consists of executive summary, analysis, methodological notes and tables in xls format. It was enriched with charts and maps that illustrating the most important phenomena and processes enable comparisons between voivodships and powiats.
